favicon.icoI have been using discord since Nov 2017. There was nothing like discord back then, there were things like TeamSpeak, which weren't straight forward. I have loved using this app since then, but I have seen the gradual shift in the company's goals. The corporate greed got to them. You could see changes being made that were only made to extract more money from the users. They added paywalls for things that were free, they removed a lot of things from the Nitro basic, and moved them all to the upper tier, to the point where Nitro basic is basically useless. They also keep making changes just to make changes, with nothing actually being gained. For example, the recent overhaul of the UI. Oh I wish discord mobile app had a different UI said no one. It's soo bad to the point it feels they took a step backwards. Everything used to feel seem less, it all worked and made sense. Now I feel soo much friction while using the app. And it is not even the kind of friction where you get used to it, none of the UI element placements make sense. None of it functions smoothly. It makes me wonder, did anyone at discord even use this before approving it?
